ADDITIONS TO DEVILED EGGS

Supplement the filling above with any of the following, to taste:

  • Anchovy fillets, minced, or anchovy paste
  • Roasted Garlic, mashed to a paste
  • Chutney, finely chopped
  • Smoked salmon, finely chopped
  • Green onions, thinly sliced
  • Celery or fennel, minced
  • Dill pickles, cornichons, pickled jalapeños, or Quick-Pickled Onions, minced
  • Sriracha or sambal oelek
  • Pesto
  • Chives, tarragon, chervil, parsley, basil, or dill, minced

Garnish deviled eggs with any of the following:

  • Sliced olives or radishes, or shaved truffles
  • Crispy Fried Shallots
  • Capers
  • Caviar or other fish roe
  • Fresh herbs
  • Bacon, cooked until crisp and crumbled
