GRAINY MUSTARD
About 1 cup

This mellows after a couple of days.

Combine in a bowl:

  • 5 tablespoons yellow mustard seeds
  • ⅓ cup dry white wine
  • ⅓ cup white wine vinegar
  • (1 ½ teaspoons grated onion)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon white pepper

Cover and refrigerate overnight. Process in a blender until blended but still grainy. Store, covered and refrigerated, for up to 3 weeks.
