MARASCHINO CHERRIES

These are not the fire-truck red “maraschino cherries” of banana split fame, but rather extremely boozy sour cherries that are as much at home as a cocktail garnish as on an adult ice cream sundae.

Place in a glass jar:

  • Unpitted, unstemmed sour cherries

Cover with:

  • Maraschino liqueur

Seal the jar and refrigerate for 2 weeks before using. Use within 1 year.
