Fragrant rose petals are a welcome addition to apple jelly, as apples and roses are closely related. Prepare Apple, Crab Apple, or Quince Jelly. Add along with the sugar and lemon juice 2 tablespoons dried rose petals or ¼ cup fragrant, fresh organic rose petals. Before pouring into jars, strain the jelly through a fine-mesh sieve into a large liquid measuring cup with a pouring lip. Proceed as directed.
