Prepare ½ recipe Hot Fudge Sauce. Let cool completely. Prepare Vanilla Ice Cream. When the ice cream is churned, spread a thin layer of room-temperature fudge sauce on the bottom of the container you wish to store the ice cream in. Top with one-third of the ice cream, then spread or drizzle half of the remaining fudge sauce on top. Repeat this layering with the remaining ice cream and fudge sauce, ending with a layer of ice cream on top. Freeze until firm, for at least 4 hours. When scooped, the fudge ripple will show.
