TEA-FLAVORED ICE CREAM
About 1 quart

Prepare Vanilla Ice Cream. Bring the milk or cream mixture to a simmer as directed and add 2 tablespoons tea leaves or 6 tea bags, such as green tea, Earl Grey, or rooibos. Remove from the heat, cover, and steep for 30 minutes. Strain, pressing firmly to extract all the liquid; discard the tea leaves or bags. Proceed as directed.
