SABAYON WITH WHITE WINE OR ORANGE LIQUEUR

Prepare:

  • Zabaglione

replacing the Marsala with:

  • ½ cup sweet white wine or ¼ cup orange liqueur plus ¼ cup water

Serve at once, or set the top of the double boiler in ice water and gently whisk the sauce until cool to the touch. Fold in the whipped cream, if desired.
