HONEY BEE GLAZE FOR COFFEE CAKES
Enough for two 9-inch square cakes
Spread this glaze on top of any coffee cake before baking.
Combine in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring to dissolve the sugar:
- ½ cup sugar
- ¼ cup milk
- 4 tablespoons (½ stick) unsalted butter
- ¼ cup honey
- ½ cup chopped toasted nuts
