QUICK MAPLE ICING
About 1 cup
This icing is quite sweet but very good on spice cakes.
Beat together in a medium bowl, or in a stand mixer with the paddle attachment:
- 2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, softened
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Add, beating until spreadable:
- About ½ cup maple syrup
