CHOCOLATE CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
About 2 ⅔ cups

Prepare Cream Cheese Frosting. Melt in a double boiler (or heatproof bowl set over a pan of barely simmering water) 5 ounces semisweet or bittersweet chocolate (up to 64% cacao), chopped, with 3 tablespoons water or coffee, stirring often until smooth. Let cool to lukewarm, then stir into the frosting.
