CHEESE POPOVERS

Combine in a bowl ½ cup (2 ounces) grated sharp Cheddar or Parmesan, ¼ teaspoon black pepper, and ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper. Prepare the batter for Popovers. Pour about 1 tablespoon batter into each cup and divide the cheese among the cups. Add the remaining batter. Bake as directed.
