SOUTH CAROLINA–STYLE MUSTARD BARBECUE SAUCE
About 3 cups

This sauce can serve as a glaze for ribs, a condiment for fried chicken, or a sauce for pulled pork.

Whisk together in a medium bowl:

  • 1 ½ cups yellow mustard
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ½ cup cider vinegar
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder

Allow to sit at least 1 hour before using. Store, refrigerated, for up to 1 month.
