This unusual barbecue sauce is specifically for grilled or smoked chicken, but it also works as a dressing for Classic Coleslaw or as a dipping sauce.
Whisk together in a medium bowl:
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup cider vinegar
- 2 garlic cloves, minced or grated on a rasp grater, or 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon drained prepared horseradish
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Cover and refrigerate for up to 5 days.
