RUSSIAN DRESSING
About 1 ⅓ cups

This sauce is better known as a condiment than a salad dressing. Use it to flavor the yolks for Deviled Eggs, drizzle over a Reuben Sandwich, or serve as a dipping sauce with fried foods.

Whisk together in a small bowl:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise, store-bought or homemade
  • 1 tablespoon grated peeled fresh or drained prepared horseradish
  • (1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce)
  • ¼ cup mild, tomato-based chili sauce or ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon grated onion
  • (1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce)

Chill before using.
