Specifically for Chicken Katsu, we think of this tangy, salty sauce as a cousin to steak sauce. Serve it with almost any fried food or use it as a glaze for ribs.
Whisk together in a small bowl:
¼ cup ketchup
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon mirin or 2 teaspoons sugar
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
