BACON STUFFING FOR FISH
About 3 cups

A savory stuffing that can stand up to the flavors of rich-tasting fish such as trout, salmon, bluefish, and mackerel. This stuffing can also be used to enrich lean fish, like tilapia.

Cook in a large skillet until crisp:

  • 12 slices bacon

Drain the bacon on paper towels. Omitting the butter and using the bacon fat to cook the vegetables, prepare:

Add the crumbled bacon. If desired, stir into the stuffing:
