BUTTERED EGG NOODLES
6 to 8 side-dish servings

Cook in a large pot of boiling salted water:

  • 12 ounces dried egg noodles or 1 pound fresh

Drain and return to the pot. Add:

  • 1 stick (4 ounces) butter, melted or browned
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Toss to coat.
