GRENADINE
About 1 ½ cups

This pomegranate juice–based syrup is a common ingredient in cocktails.

Combine in a medium saucepan:

  • 1 cup unsweetened pomegranate juice
  • 1 cup sugar

Heat gently, stirring, just until the sugar is dissolved. Do not boil. Remove from the heat and stir in:

  • ½ teaspoon orange flower water

Cool completely. Store refrigerated for up to 3 weeks.
