CHEDDAR CHEESE BALL
One 5-inch ball

Process in a food processor until smooth:

  • 2 ½ cups shredded sharp Cheddar (10 ounces)
  • 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked until crisp and crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon drained prepared horseradish
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt

Proceed as for Cream Cheese Ball, rolling the ball in:

  • 1 cup chopped toasted walnuts or pecans
