SINGAPORE SLING

This was invented in the early 1900s at the legendary Long Bar at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore. There are countless versions, the only constants being gin and cherry brandy.
Fill a chilled, tall glass with ice cubes. Add:
- 1 ounce gin
- 1 ounce cherry brandy or Cherry Heering
- 1 ounce lime juice
- 1 ounce Bénédictine
- A dash of Angostura bitters
Stir well. Top with:
- 2 ounces club soda
