FRUIT PUNCH
Twenty 6-ounce servings

Prepare and pour into a large punch bowl:

  • Simple Syrup, using 1 ¼ cups sugar and 1 ¼ cups water

Add:

  • 2 ½ cups cooled strong black tea

Cool, then add:

  • 2 ½ cups noncitrus juice, such as cherry, white grape, or strawberry
  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • 1 cup canned crushed pineapple

Add enough water to make 4 quarts of liquid. Chill for 1 hour. Immediately before serving, add:

  • 1 liter club soda or sparkling water, chilled

Add ice and serve.
